Aero Gatineau-Ottawa

12 - 14 September 2025

Aero Gatineau-Ottawa is an annual aviation event held at the Gatineau Executive Airport in Quebec, close to Canada's capital, Ottawa. This airshow has quickly become a not-to-be-missed event for aviation enthusiasts in the region, offering a spectacular showcase of aeronautical history and modernity in a family-friendly setting.

The event features a wide range of aircraft, from historic WWII aircraft such as the legendary Spitfire and P-51 Mustang, to modern fighter jets from the Canadian Armed Forces, such as the CF-18 Hornet and the Snowbirds, the Royal Canadian Air Force's aerobatic demonstration team. Aerial demonstrations include solo acrobatics, tight formation flying and re-enactments of historic air battles, providing a captivating and emotionally-charged spectacle for the public.

In addition to aerial performances, Aero Gatineau-Ottawa offers static displays where visitors can observe aircraft up close and meet the pilots. These displays also include civil, military and historic aircraft, allowing visitors to discover a wide range of flying machines. There are even introductory flights for those who want to experience flying a historic aircraft.

The airshow is often held in collaboration with Vintage Wings of Canada, an organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of historic aircraft. This participation reinforces our emphasis on education and the transmission of Canadian and international aeronautical history.

Aero Gatineau-Ottawa is more than just an air show: it's a celebration of aviation in all its forms, accessible to both aviation enthusiasts and families looking for a day of fun and entertainment.
