The Melun-Villaroche airfield in the Île-de-France region is set to host a new edition of Air Legend on Saturday, September 11, and Sunday, September 12, 2027, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This must-see event offers a complete immersion in the history and future of aviation, bringing together legendary aircraft, iconic warbirds, and modern planes, as well as ground activities and opportunities to meet the crews—all to the delight of aviation enthusiasts, curious visitors, and families.
The event takes place at a site of great historical significance: the Paris-Villaroche airfield, located 40 km southeast of Paris in the heart of the Brie plains. Formerly a flight test base marked by the presence of major manufacturers and the development of military and civilian engines by Safran, this facility remains a leading aeronautical center now focused on civil and business aviation.
For the 2027 edition, spectators will be able to enjoy a diverse lineup of aircraft and numerous activities spread across the site’s various areas, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to admire the performances of rare aircraft and experience the excitement of this major popular and aeronautical festival.
