The Clacton Airshow has established itself as the must-see aviation event in Eastern England. Every year, this major event attracts many aviation enthusiasts and curious onlookers who come to admire spectacular aerial displays over the sea. The next edition of the airshow will take place over two days, Thursday, August 26, and Friday, August 27, 2027, transforming the coastline into a vast natural grandstand from which to watch the aerial displays in the skies above Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.
To help you plan your visit to the Clacton-on-Sea seafront, several transportation options are available to visitors. By car, access from London and the M25 is via the A12, then the A120 and the A133. Travelers coming from the Midlands and the North can take the A14 and then join the A12 and the A120. For those who prefer public transportation, regular train service operated by Greater Anglia runs daily from London Liverpool Street to the Essex coast, with an average travel time of about one hour and forty-five minutes. Local bus routes, long-distance coach services, and regional trip-planning tools also make it easy to travel to the event site.
