The French Flyair Festival is coming to Cabourg for a special day dedicated to aviation on August 23, 2026. Held on the beach, just behind the historic Casino, this event for the general public showcases the best of civil and military aviation through aerobatic displays and spectacular aerial stunts. The public will be able to admire acrobatics, speed, and high-flying maneuvers that promise to dazzle thrill-seekers.
On the program for this action-packed day, the prestigious Patrouille de France will be in attendance, along with many other aerial surprises. On the ground, an immersive village set up on the Esplanade des Villes Jumelées will allow visitors to meet the pilots, get an up-close look at an Alpha Jet, or experience the thrill of flight aboard Mirage 2000 flight simulators.
This must-see seaside event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. Due to the large crowds expected to witness these aerial feats over Normandy, we recommend parking outside the city center and planning a full-day trip to fully enjoy the festivities and the seaside setting.
