Avord Air Base 702 last opened its doors in 2016. As a nuclear air base, the Avord site is rarely open to the public. The weekend of September 30 to October 1 is therefore a unique opportunity to visit this major defense site.
The BA 702's military and civilian personnel are waiting to show you their work, their equipment and facilities that the general public doesn't often get to see. For the occasion, the Air and Space Force's in-flight ambassadors will be on hand.
On the base, some 70 aircraft will be on static and dynamic display. E-3F Awacs, Rafale, A330 Phénix MRTT, A400M Atlas - these are just some of the aircraft that the 25,000 visitors expected over this exceptional weekend will be able to catch a glimpse of. The lucky ones will even be able to take part in a unique first flight aboard one of the Air Force's legendary aircraft.
