The Minden–Tahoe Airshow returns in 2026... with a new identity in the works The legendary Minden–Tahoe Airshow will make its grand return to Minden–Tahoe Airport (Nevada) from 16 to 18 October 2026. After years of success under the name Aviation Roundup, the organisers are embarking on a new era with a rebranding of the event and inviting the public to participate. 🗳️ The community invited to choose the new name Wanting the event to fully reflect its local roots and dynamism, the air show team is opening a public vote to select its future name. According to airport director Heather MacDonnell: "This air show belongs to the community. It's only natural that they should have a say in its future. " The finalist names proposed are: Minden–Tahoe SkyFest High Desert Skies Airshow Sierra Thunder Airshow Or keep the name Aviation Roundup 👉 Online voting is open until 25 February 2026 at 5 p.m. 🔗 https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YHDYT8V The winning name will be announced later this year. 🔥 A historic 2026 edition Despite this change of identity, the event's DNA remains intact: high-level aviation, a family atmosphere and the spectacular backdrop of northern Nevada.
