The Show Me State Air Show is set to take to the skies over Missouri on September 12 and 13, 2026. Held at Jefferson City Memorial Airport, this major event combines aviation, education, and patriotism to offer a weekend full of excitement. This year’s event will place special emphasis on remembrance, commemorating the 35th anniversary of Operation Desert Storm and the 25th anniversary of the war in Afghanistan, paying a heartfelt tribute to veterans.
Visitors will be able to watch spectacular flight demonstrations—both civilian and military—while exploring stunning aircraft on static display. The venue will also feature numerous activities for the whole family, including a veterans’ area, a food court with a beer tent, souvenir stands, and a children’s area equipped with inflatable structures and obstacle courses. Science and technology enthusiasts, meanwhile, will enjoy booths and fun, educational activities centered on STEM.
As for ticketing, admission is designed to be accessible to everyone: tickets are $10 for those aged 11 and older, $5 for children ages 5 to 10, and completely free for children ages 4 and under. Free admission is also granted to active-duty and retired military personnel upon presentation of proof of service.
