To date, more than 2,800 L-39s have served in over 30 air forces worldwide. The Albatross is the world's most widely used jet trainer. In addition to basic and advanced pilot training, it has also flown combat missions as a light attack aircraft. The Fly and Fun patrol was created over 8 years ago. It was launched in 2014 as the Sparflex patrol. It initially consisted of a two-plane team, with a third plane added in 2017. Based at the Reims-Prunay airfield, the patrol takes part in numerous airshows in France and is a unique flying school in Europe offering training on L39C Albatros. The team is made up of 4 experienced pilots and a mechanic whose passion for aviation and the L-39 is just incredible.
