Patrouille Suisse is the acrobatic flight demonstration team of the Swiss Air Force. It is known for its spectacular acrobatic flight demonstrations at various events, including air shows and air festivals. Patrouille Suisse is made up of elite Swiss Air Force pilots, flying Northrop F-5E Tiger II fighter jets. Created in 1964, Patrouille Suisse has become a source of national pride in Switzerland. Its pilots perform impressive aerial maneuvers, including loops, rolls, tight formation crosses, tight turns and other acrobatic moves. Their performances are often synchronized to the millimeter, and are accompanied by music and commentary for the audience.
